With this in mind, the main European associations in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector have created a short guide to help stem the dangerous phenomenon of the illegal refrigerant trade and smuggling.
The brochure was produced by AREA, the HVACR European Trade Association, ASERCOM, the Association of European Refrigeration Component Manufacturers, EFCTC, which represents European fluorocarbon manufacturers, and EPEE, the European Partnership Europe for Energy and the Environment.
